Ovens and Murray

The SOV Ovens and Murray Region has been established since 1981 and covers the north eastern area of Victoria including the municipalities of Benalla, Wangaratta, Albury / Wodonga with athletes from Tallangatta and Myrtleford attending as well.

In October 2009 SOV Ovens and Murray Region will be hosting the State Winter Games - this is a time when all eleven SOV regions come together for competition.

April through to October each year, the SOV Ovens and Murray train fortnightly in Baskeball and Tenpin Bowling. November through to early April training is conducted in Athletics, Bocce and Tennis with Softball played only in certain seasons, depending on demand. All training is done on weekends - all Basketball training is on a Saturday with all other sports on a Sunday.
